These terms govern your use of Erghi — our website, embeddable chat widget, APIs, and admin platform. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. Erghi is a small, independently operated company based in Egypt; if anything here is unclear, email [email protected] and a real person will answer.
Erghi provides an embeddable, white-label AI customer-support chat widget that businesses install on their own websites. The service is operated by Erghi AI, based in Ezbet Al Nakhal, Cairo, Egypt; formal commercial registration is in progress. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for keeping your credentials secure, and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been compromised.
Erghi offers a permanent Free plan plus paid Starter, Growth and Enterprise plans. Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual cycle and renew automatically until cancelled. Each plan carries its own limits on agent seats, conversations, AI replies and history retention, shown on our pricing page and in your dashboard. Billing, cancellation and refunds are covered in full by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
You may not use Erghi to send unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or infringing content; to transmit malware; to attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or another customer's data; to resell the service without a written agreement; or to circumvent plan limits. We may suspend an account that is causing harm to other customers or to the platform, and will tell you why.
You keep all rights to the content you and your website visitors send through Erghi. You grant us only the licence needed to host, process and display it so the service can function. Where visitors chat with a widget on your site, you are the data controller and we act as your processor — see our Privacy Policy for how that works and what we do with the data.
Where law requires people to be told they are interacting with an AI system rather than a human — including Article 50 of the EU AI Act — keeping that disclosure visible to visitors on your own site is your responsibility. Erghi's default widget UI already identifies itself as an AI assistant; do not remove, hide, or relabel that identification in a way that misleads visitors about what they are talking to.
Erghi, its software, design, documentation and brand remain ours. Your subscription grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during your subscription term. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of the platform to you.
Erghi relies on third parties for payment processing, AI model inference, hosting and email delivery. Their handling of data is governed by their own terms, and we choose providers with that in mind. We are not responsible for outages or changes originating from a third party, though we will work to minimise the impact on you.
Erghi depends on infrastructure and AI providers based in the United States and the European Union, whose availability to us is itself subject to export-control and sanctions law. You may not use Erghi, and we may suspend your account, if you are located in, owned by, or acting on behalf of a country or party subject to comprehensive trade sanctions or export restrictions under EU, UK, US or Egyptian law.
We aim to keep Erghi available continuously but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we may need planned maintenance. Support is provided by email at [email protected]. We do not offer a contractual uptime guarantee on self-serve plans; Enterprise agreements may include one in writing.
You may cancel at any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or terminate an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, for non-payment after the grace period described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, or where we are required to by law. If you request deletion of your account, your data is retained for 30 days — so the request can be reversed — and permanently purged after that.
Erghi is provided "as is". AI-generated replies may be inaccurate or incomplete, and you are responsible for reviewing how the widget represents your business and for the answers it gives your customers. We disclaim all warranties not expressly stated here, to the extent the law allows.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost revenue or lost data.
We may update these terms as the service develops. If a change materially affects your rights we will give notice by email or in the dashboard before it takes effect. Continuing to use Erghi after that date means you accept the updated terms.
If we cannot perform an obligation because of an event outside our reasonable control — a natural disaster, war, act of government, internet or utility outage, or failure of a third-party provider we depend on — that obligation is suspended for as long as the event continues. We may assign these terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all our assets; you may not assign them without our written consent. If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. These terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund & Cancellation Policy together are the entire agreement between us and supersede any earlier agreement on the same subject. These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the courts of Egypt have jurisdiction over any dispute. Nothing here removes consumer rights you hold under the mandatory law of your own country of residence.
