This policy explains how Erghi subscriptions are billed, how to cancel, and when a refund is available. It applies to all self-serve paid plans. If your situation isn't covered here, email [email protected] — we would rather sort it out directly than have you dispute a charge.
Paid plans are charged in advance for the period you choose — monthly or annual — and renew automatically on the same date each cycle until you cancel. The amount and currency are shown before you confirm checkout and on every receipt. Erghi does not store your card details; they are held by our payment provider.
Cancel at any time from Billing in your dashboard. No notice period is required and you do not need to email us or explain why. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for.
You keep full access to your paid plan until the end of the current billing period. After that the account moves to the permanent Free plan rather than being deleted, so your workspaces, widgets and settings stay intact. Note that history retention is shorter on Free (7 days, against 30 on Starter and 90 on Growth), so export anything you need to keep before the period ends.
Because cancellation always leaves you with the service you already paid for until period end, we do not routinely refund the unused portion of a term. We will refund in full where a charge was clearly wrong — a duplicate payment, a charge after a valid cancellation, or a renewal on an account you never used in that period. Contact [email protected] within 14 days of the charge and we will resolve it.
If you are an individual consumer — not signing up on behalf of a registered business — located in the EU, EEA or UK, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract for digital services within 14 days without giving a reason. Because onboarding happens through direct contact rather than instant self-serve signup, we confirm at that stage whether the service is for your trade, business, craft or profession; where it is not, we honour this right in full. If you ask us to start the service immediately, before the 14 days end, you acknowledge you may lose the right to withdraw once it has been fully performed.
Annual plans are billed for twelve months in advance at a discount to the monthly rate. If you cancel mid-term, access continues until the annual period ends. If you believe you have grounds for an early refund, write to [email protected] and we will look at it on the facts rather than refusing on principle.
Upgrades take effect immediately so you get the higher limits right away. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period, so you keep what you have already paid for. You can see any scheduled change, and cancel it, in your dashboard before it applies.
If a renewal charge fails, we retry it once every 24 hours and your account keeps full paid access for a 7-day grace period. If no payment succeeds in that window the account is moved to the Free plan. It is not deleted, and updating your card restores the paid plan.
Charges are made in the currency shown at checkout. Your bank may apply its own conversion rate or a foreign-transaction fee if that currency differs from your account's — those charges are set by your bank, not by Erghi. Any tax that applies is shown before you confirm.
If you see a charge you do not recognise, please email [email protected] first. We can almost always identify and resolve it within one business day, which is faster than a bank dispute and avoids your account being suspended while a chargeback is investigated.
Billing questions and refund requests: [email protected]. Please include the email address on the account and the date and amount of the charge.
